About us

On any given day of the week, Flor de Harina welcomes locals, local celebrities, tourists, moms-on-the-go, business partners, and reunited friends into our beloved location in Cupey, a borough in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Greeted by our marvelous and attentive staff and the scent of culinary splendor that floats through the space, our guests step into an experience that engages all the senses: rustic décor at every turn, the aroma and comfort of rustic food inspired by family traditions, and the highest quality, locally sourced ingredients. Flor de harina founders, Juan Colón and Melissa Quiroga have brought to life a melding of their earliest childhood experiences in the kitchen and a nod to their grandmothers’ mothers from South of America, Spain and Puerto Rico.

What started as an independent home bakery in October 2012 is now a leading lifestyle brand that boasts, unique pastry inspired brunch, gourmet mouthwatering cakes, artisan pizzas with non-bromate flours, authentic tapas, house made pastas and sauces, and local coffee.

Our pastry division, Miel by Flor de Harina lead by Melissa, covers high-end events and collaborate with leading brands for partnerships and activations. We host engaging workshops like decorating cakes and creating floral arrangements.
